Karen Karvonen, MFA, is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and formerly worked as an academic counselor for students with learning disabilities at the University of Denver where she gave Enneagram workshops for her colleagues. For the last 15 years, she has edited the journal for the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International, which provides equine-assisted services for children and adults with physical, emotional and cognitive challenges. A student of The Narrative Enneagram, she teaches beginning Enneagram classes to older adults at DU’s Osher Lifelong Long Learning Institute and runs several advanced groups. A former freelance writer and college writing instructor with a strong interest in dreamwork, she co-founded her first dream group in 1987, and continues to co-facilitate a small dream group.
